Job Summary
- Daily cleaning and supplying of patient and/or resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, clinic and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services (ES) Department.
- Will use cleaning devices; including wet mops, wringers, dusters, commercial vacuum cleaners and other necessary tools, products and supplies.
- Works under the general supervision, with work subject to check by the Environmental Services Coordinator.
- It is important that employees are regular and consistent in their attendance.
- Avera’s responsibility to employees includes a posted schedule be developed based on department needs, staff flexibility, staff requests and FTE requirements.
- Employees are responsible for reporting to work on time according to the schedule.
Education and/or Experience
- High School Graduate/GED is preferred.
- No previous experience required; on-the-job training.
Work Schedule
- 7:00 am - 3:30 pm as needed; PRN
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $17.00 - $20.50 per hour
