Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at The Rivers at Maryland. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform daily cleaning and sanitation tasks in resident rooms, common areas, and other facility spaces.
2. Ensure all cleaning activities adhere to health and safety standards.
3. Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and personal clothing items.
4. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, reporting any shortages or necessary equipment repairs.
5. Collaborate with other staff members to address specific resident needs and preferences.
6. Assist with occasional special projects and deep cleaning tasks.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare or Assisted Living setting.
2. Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
5. Compassionate and understanding attitude towards elderly residents.
6. Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare or Assisted Living setting.
3. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
4. Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.
