Housekeeper And Laundry Attendant-Part Time & Full Time

The Fairfield Inn & Suites North Macon is now hiring for a energetic and friendly laundry attendant. The following candidate must have the following criteria:

-Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and be flexible.

-Current or previous Marriott housekeeping experience is preferred.

-Must be willing to work with minimum supervision and complete daily tasks.

-Respond to guest requests in a friendly & timely fashion and assist with housekeeping duties.

-Inspect linen and towels and use proper chemicals for reclaim as needed.

-Other duties will be assigned by management as needed.

-All candidates will be required to lift heavy items or equipment.

Duties:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and Laundry facilities in a hotel setting.
- Perform general housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and changing linens.
- Ensure all rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and amenities.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department.
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and ironing.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.

Skills:
- Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and tidiness of rooms and common areas.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy items if required.

Please note that previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
