Job Summary: A hotel housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and common areas in a hotel to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.Duties and Responsibilities:1.Room Cleaning:•Clean and sanitize guest rooms according to hotel standards.•Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and toiletries.•Dust and vacuum carpets, drapes, and furniture.•Empty trash bins and replace liners.•Ensure all amenities in the room are in working order.2.Bathroom Cleaning:•Clean and disinfect bathroom fixtures, including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.•Replenish bathroom supplies such as soap, shampoo, and toilet paper.3.Restocking:•Restock coffee makers, and guest supplies as needed.•Report any damaged or missing items to the front desk via WhatsApp.4.Common Area Cleaning:•Clean and maintain common areas such as lobbies, hallways, and outside of rooms.•Vacuum and mop floors, dust surfaces, and clean windows.5.Laundry:•Collect and sort linens and towels for laundry service.•Operate laundry equipment as needed.6.Maintenance Reporting:•Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed in guest rooms or common areas.7.Lost and Found:•Follow hotel policies for handling lost and found items.8.Guest Requests:•Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or supplies.9.Teamwork:•Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient room turnover.•Assist with training new housekeeping team members when necessary.Requirements:•Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.•Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.•Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.•Physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks like lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.•Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests.•Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines.•Flexibility in work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
