Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned areas, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Ensure all rooms are cleaned to the highest standards and meet guest expectations
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and restock supplies
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance and urgency
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members
Skills:
- Clean: Ability to clean rooms and common areas efficiently and effectively.
- Hotel: Familiarity with hotel cleaning standards and procedures.
- Housekeeping management: Understanding of housekeeping operations and ability to manage tasks.
- Hospitality: Knowledge of providing excellent customer service in a hospitality setting.
- Industrial cleaning: Experience in cleaning large industrial spaces or facilities.
- Floor care: Proficiency in floor cleaning techniques, including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
- Custodial: Knowledge of custodial duties, including waste disposal and restroom maintenance.
