Position: Household Manager/Nanny

We are seeking a dedicated and professional individual to fill the role of Household Manager/Nanny. This crucial position involves overseeing the overall functioning of the home and providing attentive care to the mother and her two children.

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule:

(Before and after school care, housekeeping, and bi-weekly Saturdays):

● Week 1: Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Sunday off)

● Week 2: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Saturday off, Sunday off)

● With the select time above, nanny may not be required to work each of these

days or hours, although nanny is expected to be available as needed between

these hours.

Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive housekeeping duties, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.

- Ensure the organization and tidiness of all living spaces, including bedrooms, living rooms, and common areas.

- Manage and execute deep cleaning tasks in collaboration with a designated cleaning team on a weekly basis.

- Take charge of grocery shopping, maintaining an inventory of household essentials, and restocking as needed.

- Coordinate and manage home maintenance tasks, liaising with service providers for repairs and upkeep.

- Provide diligent care for pets, including feeding, grooming, and scheduling veterinary appointments.

- Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, considering dietary preferences and restrictions.

- Stay on top of a substantial amount of laundry, including washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.

- Assist the mother in various household-related tasks, such as purchasing gifts, organizing children's uniforms, and managing closets.

- Maintain cleanliness and order in bathrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies.

- Monitor and replenish household supplies, from cleaning products to toiletries.

- Organize and execute household events or gatherings

Morning Routine (7 AM to 8:15 AM):

● Prepare breakfast for children and ensure readiness for school.

● Transport children to school by 8:15 AM.

● Feed morning meals to dogs.

Housekeeping (8:15 AM to 2:45 PM):

● Perform comprehensive housekeeping duties, including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.

● Ensure the organization and tidiness of all living spaces, including bedrooms, living rooms, and common areas.

● Kitchen cleaning and organization.

● Manage household laundry and maintain overall tidiness.

● General cleaning tasks (dishes, dog-related cleaning, living area tidying, etc.).

● Grocery list compilation (staple items).

● Clean and organize designated areas.

● Chinchilla cage cleaning three times a week.

● Once chores are complete, nanny may leave shift and then arrive as follows

below

Afternoon Routine (3:15 PM onwards):

● Pick up children from school at 3:15 PM.

● Supervise post-school activities and provide a nutritious snack.

● Plan, prepare, and serve dinner considering dietary preferences and restrictions.

Pet Care:

● Feed dogs in the morning and evening.

● Clean the chinchilla cage three times a week.

● Provide diligent care for pets, including feeding, and scheduling veterinary and grooming appointments.

Leave Management:

● Leaves are to be arranged and coordinated with the employer.

Sick Leave:

● Accommodate sick leaves with timely communication.

Qualifications:

● Previous childcare and housekeeping experience.

● Capability to manage household tasks independently.

● Strong organizational and time management skills.

● Reliable transportation for school runs and activities.

Requirements:

● Punctuality is essential.

● Prioritize children's safety and well-being.

● Maintain cleanliness and organization in the household.

● Adaptability to varying schedules.

Note:

• Apart from childcare and housekeeping, responsibilities include pet care (dogs and chinchillas). Effective communication with the employer is vital for the smooth coordination of all duties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Housekeeping: 2 years (Required)
