Part-time Household Assistant

We are looking for a part-time Household Assistant to perform a variety of household and administrative tasks in support of Principals and their valuable, established household employees.
Note: We hope to hire a long-term team member. This role is not suited for someone whose schedule changes often and/or anticipates their availability will change after the schedule is established
Hours: 21-25 hours/week (this is a newly created support position, so hours are an estimate until the schedule is set)
Days/Times: Targeting Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 9am – 4pm (there may be room for flexibility for the right candidate, but will need to be close to this)
Location: Seattle (Madison Park). (Some work may be performed remotely, but most work does need to happen on-site)
This is a newly created position, designed for someone with a positive attitude, who enjoys being helpful and working in private service. To start, the responsibilities will include:
Household Basics:
· Laundry management (either done on-site and/or overseen for drop-off locally)
· Tidying up (noticing things and being helpful)
· Errands
· Picking up mail/packages
· Help with vehicle issues (gassing up, getting oil changes, car washes, maintenance appts, etc.)
· Letting the housecleaners in
Administrative:
· Helping to secure/book tickets for events (which may include research, phone calls, persistence)
· Help with travel arranging and travel booking for various family members
· Miscellaneous tasks: opening mail, shredding, filing, etc.
Requirements:
· At least 5 years of professional experience. Preference given to those who have worked in private service, but not required.
· Ability to accommodate the stated, ideal schedule for the long-term
· Proficiency with Microsoft-related products, particularly Excel
· Google Workspace Knowledge (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Drive, etc.)
· Outstanding organizational and time management skills
· Familiarity with office gadgets and applications
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
· Ability to work independently without regular direction or supervision
· Discretion and confidentiality

Compensation:
- $60,000/year for the roughly 21-25 hours/week we seek to establish.
- Employee eligible for medical + dental (premiums 100% paid by employer)
- SEP contribution (25% of salary will be funded to your SEP account)
- PTO: 4 weeks vacation and 5 sick days per year
