Job Description:
Seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team in a 400+ room hotel. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, an eye for detail, and a commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are consistently met across all rooms and public areas.
- Develop, implement, and maintain housekeeping procedures and training programs for staff.
- Manage staffing needs, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards.
- Address and resolve guest complaints related to housekeeping services.
- Collaborate with the front office and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies, inventory, and budget.
- Prepare reports on housekeeping activities and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle other duties as assigned by hotel management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a housekeeping management role, preferably in a hotel of similar size.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
