House Cleaner for Short-Term Rental Property Turnover

Hours: Part-Time 20-32 hours week (approx)
Summary of Position:
We are looking for a reliable House Cleaner to join our team at The Hill's Posh Lifestyle Experience in Houston Galleria, TX. A flexible person who is willing to work in a fast-paced environment. Dedicated and detail-oriented House Cleaner to join our team and assist in the turnover process of our short-term rental properties. As a House Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our properties are immaculate and ready for the next guests. Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning and Sanitizing: Thoroughly clean and sanitize all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas, following established cleaning procedures and standards.
2. Linen and Towel Replacement: Change and replace bed linens, towels, and other linens as required.
3. Dusting and Vacuuming: Dust and vacuum all surfaces, including furniture, floors, and fixtures.
4. Bathroom and Kitchen Maintenance: Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, showers, bathtubs, countertops, and kitchen appliances.
5. Trash Removal: Empty trash cans and replace liners in all rooms.
6. Restocking: Ensure that necessary supplies such as toiletries, paper towels, and cleaning products are replenished.
7. Reporting Maintenance Issues: Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues to the property manager.
8. Laundry Duties: Collect, wash, dry, fold, and store linens and towels.
9. Inspecting Inventory: Regularly inspect inventory items, such as kitchenware, and report any damaged or missing items.
10. Exterior Cleaning: Maintain the cleanliness of outdoor areas, including patios, balconies, and entrances.
11. Communicating with Guests: Interact with guests courteously and professionally, addressing any questions or concerns they may have regarding cleanliness.
12. Compliance with Health and Safety Standards: Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in house cleaning or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols and standards.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects when necessary.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays, as required.

Requirements:
·Must be 18 years or older to apply
·Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
·Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
·Must be able to climb ladders as high as 12 feet in order to clean windows and doors.
·Ability to pass a basic background check.
·Ability to work alone or with others while maintaining a positive attitude.
·Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
·Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
·Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis, climb ladders, and stand for long periods of time.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
