SalaryThe bell person/van driver is responsible for assisting with the check-in/check-out process and accommodating guests during their stay in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner. He/she may also have shuttle bus/ van driving duties.
Applicants must have a clean and valid driver's license.
Duties & Functions:
Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service oriented manner.
Must be effective at listening to, understanding and clarifying the concerns & issues raised by guests and co-workers.
Ability to walk and/or stand during entire shift.
Load and unload luggage carts. Heavy work- exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Escort guests to rooms and familiarize them with hotel services and amenities.
Check/store luggage for arrivals and departures with luggage tags.
Be familiar with the local area and attractions.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and nametag while working.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
