How do I make an impact on my team?
Our high-spirited Hotel Rooms Division Manager assists in leading and managing various property operations including staffing, Profit & Loss responsibilities, sales & marketing, guest services, housekeeping, operations, facilities management and manager-on-duty oversight.

  • Manages the housekeeping team, laundry and public area team , which includes recruitment & selection, orientation, training
    & development, scheduling, counseling, performance management and other team
    member relations' issues.
  • Maximizes revenue and occupancy by accurately selling rooms, up selling during
    reservation calls and at check in, and by making future reservations at check out.
  • Ensure compliance of health and safety standards
  • Maintains personal contact with in-house guests and clients in the community to ensure
    guest loyalty.
  • Provides exceptional guest service to all guests setting the standards for all team
    members to follow.
  • Assists with various accounting/financial functions including A/P, A/R, city ledger billing,
    guaranteed no-show billing, direct bill accounts, 100% files, end-of-month reports and
    other department reports.
  • Is trained and able to perform any position at the property.

What does success look like in this role?
  • Bachelor's degree or related work experience.
  • Three years of hotel experience
  • Two years in a management position.
  • Housekeeping or related work experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to speak clearly and listen
    attentively.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to handle pressure with poise and finesse.
  • Positive attitude, outgoing and friendly personality.
