GreenTree is looking for self-motivated individuals with strong customer service skills, and wealth of experience directing a Hotel Maintenance department
HOTEL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage maintenance department, inventory, ordering, Scheduling of staff and PM/Carpet Clean Programs.
· Work with / source vendors for any major projects, including multiple competing bids for large projects.
· Respond to guest calls and team member and complete all necessary work orders and customer requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
· Perform the “RPM” (Room Preventative Maintenance) process. This includes performing a detailed and in depth inspection of all aspects of the guest room/unit. Complete full, detailed, documented PM's of no less than 10% of hotel rooms each week.
· Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks. This includes carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work, and masonry
· Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space, and heart-of-the-house areas
· Perform basic janitorial work inside the unit and in the common areas such as basic landscaping, basic maintenance to the exterior of the building/common areas and pool/spa maintenance etc.
· Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
· Provide excellent guest service by responding to calls for maintenance quickly and courteously.
REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRED TRAITS
· High school diploma is required, technical/vocational school preferred.
· Must obtain a valid driver license.
· Hotel experience preferred.
· General knowledge of carpentry, painting, electrical, etc.
· Requires excellent communication skills, an ability to work in a team atmosphere
