Maintain timelines and work schedule in accordance with the preventive maintenance program. Check work orders and night report for any problems.
•Make rounds checking these problem areas and note any information needed or safety concerns in the hotel-repair as needed.
•Schedule work in accordance with preventive maintenance program in rooms, coordinating with the Front Office and General Manager.
•Perform electrical work orders: a) Replace light switches. b) Reset circuit breakers. c) Replace wall plug receptacles. d) Replace fluorescent light ballast. e) Replace small motors. g) Use test equipment, millimeter, voltage tester, amp probe.
•Perform plumbing work orders: a) Unplug sinks & toilets. b) Replace washer, gaskets, vacuum breakers, toilet seals.
•Perform Preventive Maintenance work orders: a) Monitor and maintain all laundry equipment. b) Maintain guestrooms using Rooms Preventive Maintenance Program Punch List. c) Change air-conditioning filters every month. d) Check HVAC equipment; change filters, belts, bearings and lubricate as necessary. Also check for unusual noise or vibration, adjusting as necessary. e) Change or repair locks as needed. f) Maintain vacuum cleaners in working order
•Perform general maintenance to guestrooms and public areas.
•Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to include a) inventories b) requisition (receipt and storage) c) trash removal and clean up
•Maintain the proper use, cleaning, maintenance and storage of all tools. Handle chemicals for designated uses/surfaces.
•Ensure security of any assigned keys.
•Pool maintenance including-backwashing filters, maintaining acid and chlorine feed, comply with all state health codes for pool and spa. We will train on pool maintenance-and also provide Certified Pool Operator training.
•Remove snow and ice from entrances and sidewalk
•Clean and de-lime ice machines
•Assist room attendants in mattress flipping on a quarterly basis
•Remove all debris from public corridors and empties all ash urns, interior and exterior trash receptacles daily.
•Remove debris from parking lot and sweep canopy and entry areas. Check and replace exterior lights. Maintain landscaping of property.

•Must have flexible schedule to include evenings & weekends
•Some mechanical knowledge
