We have an immediate need for an experienced, committed, and hardworking Hotel Maintenance Team Member in West Palm Beach, Florida. The team member will have general knowledge of construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting and grounds keeping. Communication with guests, management and team members is vital to this position.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment and perform preventive and corrective maintenance as needed
• Perform a wide variety of preventative maintenance duties, including but not limited to, painting walls, ceilings, doors and window trim as needed, changing light bulbs, repairing or replacing fixtures in rooms, fix or replace doors and locks, troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues
• Check functionality of safety systems such as fire alarms and CCTV cameras
• Inspect facilities and grounds for issues on a daily basis and perform property upkeep activities such as mowing, trimming, basic landscaping, and collecting trash etc.
• Ensure all maintenance equipment is properly functioning and maintained
• Respond in a timely manner to all maintenance emergencies

Skills and Abilities

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, grounds maintenance, and electrical systems
• Experience using hand and electrical tools
• The ability to work well with others
• Strong time management. Ability to accomplish quality, detailed work within established guidelines and timelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• This is a physically demanding position. Must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
