Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in guest rooms and common areas of the hotel. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional service will ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay for our guests.
Duties:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets
- Replenish amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste properly
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers
- Ensure all surfaces are clean and free of dust or debris
- Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Assist with laundry duties as needed
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety protocols
Experience:
- Previous experience in hospitality or custodial roles is preferred
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and techniques is beneficial
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning of guest rooms
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
