Hosts, Food Runners And Cashiers

Chicken N Pickle, a fun, active eatery is looking for an enthusiastic Hospitality Teammate, to serve in a variety of roles, including Cashier, Host and Food Runner.

Hospitality Teammates that serve as a Cashier will greet guests, direct them to menu items, share daily specials, encourage options on menu items, carefully take and repeat orders from guests, and thank them by name. Teammates that serve as a Host, will greet guests, direct them to appropriate areas for service, answer phones and respond to online orders and questions. Teammates that serve as a Food Runner, delivering food orders, bussing tables, moving tables, lifting boxes, and supporting servers. Hospitality Teammates also remove trash, keep the floor, shelving and equipment clean and supplies well stocked and other duties as assigned.

A successful Teammate will have a positive attitude, and the ability to observe areas that need support, as well as offer support and communication to help the team perform at peak ability.

Essential Responsibilities

● Greet guests and help them understand the CNP experience

● Share menu tours for guests unfamiliar with the menu options

● Mention special items or events

● Take guest orders and repeat the order back to confirm

● Collect cash, gift card and credit/debit payments, as well as start tabs

● Direct guests and ensure ideal speed of service

● Answer phones and help guests get their questions answered

● Answer questions about Yard Activities and Pickleball

● Maintain a neat, organized workspace and work as a team

● Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed

● Observe tables that need bussing to ensure even workloads for others

● Involved in continuous skill development and training

● Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude

Job Qualifications

● Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays

● 1+ years of customer service experience, preferred

● Ability to work 6+ hours on your feet at a time

● Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

● Problem solving, computer literacy and decision making skills.

● Friendly, positive attitude

● Team player who looks for ways to help out other employees whenever needed
