Job Overview:
We are seeking friendly and outgoing individuals to join our team as Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor upon arrival
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Manage waitlist and seating arrangements
- Assist in answering phone calls and taking reservations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth dining experience for guests
- Provide assistance to guests as needed, including answering questions and addressing concerns
- Uphold company standards for guest relations and customer service
- Utilize POS system to manage seating assignments and track table availability
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on providing exceptional experiences
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and grace
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling reservations
- Knowledge of food service procedures and basic menu items
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
Pay range is based on hourly plus tip out
