JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the overall guest experience as it relates to time spent greeting guests to the restaurant in a pleasant and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Greet and seat guests.
- All guests are treated in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction.
- Assist with opening side work and set up.
- Assist with closing side work.
- Always strive to exceed our guest’s expectations.
- Manage Yelp waitlist.
- Run the floor plan board.
- Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty and occupied tables.
- Clean, organize and stock menus at host area/tables.
- Interacts with guests in and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience.
- Communicate with MOD/Bar/Kitchen staff to ensure proper, timely service.
- Sweeping of front entrance area frequently.
- Other duties as directed.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS
- General knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
SENSORY/PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Should be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Long hours of standing
- Working outdoors with excessive heat and humidity
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
