Job Responsibilities:
- Greets guests, escorts them to their table, pull seat out for the ladies and present menus
- Keep the counts for individual servers so things come out fair at the end of the night
- Communicate with management to be aware of all reservations for the day
- Walk through dining rooms, entryway, and bathrooms to ensure they are kept clean throughout operations
- Perform opening and closing duties
- Communicates all customer requests/special occasions to the appropriate server and/or manager on duty
- Light housekeeping duties as needed
- 3+ years of experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant required
- Experience with Open Table restaurant-reservation system required
- Must be upbeat and friendly
- Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone
- Keep clean and professional appearance at all times
- Ability to stand/walk and stay focused for extended periods of time
