Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience. Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Manage waitlist and seating arrangements
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Provide accurate wait time estimates to guests
Requirements:
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
