TerraCotta Wine Bistro has an opening for a professional Host / Hostess. We are a casual upscale restaurant with a small but mighty staff. Our reputation for friendly, courteous service is something that we are very proud of. TerraCotta is open 5 nights a week from Thursday - Monday. We are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Some of the responsibilities of the job are:
- Familiarity with Open Table system
- Confirming and managing reservations
- Greeting and seating guests
- Working with the owner and floor staff to solve any potential problems
Teamwork, a sense of humor and a pleasant smile are important qualities to us.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient and smooth workflow
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the management team to develop marketing initiatives
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the food service industry, preferably in a supervisory or management role
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Team player
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
