Host/Host

Duties:

- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Take orders through the phone and in person
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Collaborate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with seating arrangements for large parties or special events

Skills:

- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in using POS systems, specifically Aloha POS
- Strong hospitality skills, making guests feel welcome and comfortable
- Professional phone etiquette when taking reservations or addressing guest inquiries
- Knowledge of guest services and the ability to provide exceptional guest relations
- Familiarity with food service procedures and restaurant operations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to help out in various areas of the restaurant as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 14 per week
