Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Manage the waitlist
- Answer phone calls and provide information to guests
- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests they may have
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station
- Collaborate with the waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow
Skills:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Strong guest service skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and ability to assist guests with menu selections
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling guest inquiries over the phone
