**Open House Daily: MONDAY 12PM to 2PM at 150 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach FL 33139**
A Hostess presents a positive first impression of the establishment's friendliness, excellent service and high standards. The Host/Hostess also greets guests upon arrival, monitors a waiting list, enters guest names into the computer system, shows guests to their table and bid guests farewell as they leave.
A hostess must be able to carry natural conversation with guests without sounding scripted or intrusive. Additionally, the hostess cares for our guests performs light housekeeping duties such as cleaning menus. As a member of an energetic team, hostess may also need to answer the phones and make reservations for our customers. Availability must include nights and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and seat guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Manage reservations and waitlists with attention to detail and courtesy.
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with servers to provide a seamless dining experience.
- Provide guests with information about the restaurant and answer their inquiries, showcasing advanced English proficiency.
- Handle incoming phone calls, addressing guest queries and managing reservations through the OpenTable system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area.
- Assist in special occasion coordination and address guest concerns in a professional manner.
*Qualifications:*
- Previous experience in a similar role in a fine dining setting is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in the English language.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with the OpenTable reservation system is a plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
