Job Description:

As a Hostess/Cashier at Blue Sunday Bar and Grill, you will be an essential part of our dedicated team committed to providing guests with an extraordinary dining experience. You will deliver a high level of service while ensuring the seamless flow of the dining operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing an exceptional first impression.
• Manage reservations, ensuring accurate booking details and efficiently allocating tables.
• Maintain a neat and organized host stand and reservation system.
• Communicate effectively with waitstaff and management to coordinate seating and guest preferences.
• Provide guests with information about the restaurant's offerings, such as daily specials.
• Assist in accommodating special requests and handling any guest inquiries.
• Monitor the flow of the dining room to maximize seating capacity and guest comfort.
• Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a host/hostess in a fine dining or upscale restaurant is preferred but not mandatory.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for providing outstanding guest service.
• Impeccable attention to detail and the ability to handle reservations and guest preferences accurately.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure during busy periods.
