Host/Cashier

WEEKENDS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

8 HR SHIFT. 7:30AM-3:30PM

Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring smooth operations at our restaurant. Duties: - Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome - Seat guests and provide menus - Take reservations and manage the waitlist - Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries - Handle cash transactions using a POS system - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area - Assist with guest relations and resolve any issues or complaints - Collaborate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure efficient service - Communicate special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff Requirements: - Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Knowledge of phone etiquette and professional communication skills - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions, including internships.
