Host/Busser

Moshi Moshi Sushi & Izakaya is hiring a front-of-house support role (Host/Busser) to join our amazing team! Responsibilities include clearing and cleaning tables, restocking service stations, greeting and assisting guests, and other duties as needed. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and desire a positive work atmosphere, we’d like to meet you! This is an entry-level position with the option of future promotion within the company. Pay includes a portion of the tip pool.

Responsibilities

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and detail
• Clear dirty tables, clean/sanitize, and reset
• Perform basic stocking and cleaning responsibilities
• Attend to customers upon entrance
• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
• Answer questions or make product recommendations
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar team members

WA Food Handlers Card and MAST permit required, but can be acquired after hiring.

Starting pay rate is $20/hour. (Pay Range is $20.00 - $21.00/hour). After completing training you will participate in the weekly tip pool, which usually adds between $2-$5/hour on top of base pay.
