Position Description:
CGI Federal is looking for a HBSS Administrator to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client in the Virginia Beach area. The selected candidate will assist with enterprise management and technical support in the areas of Research Development Test & Evaluation (RDT&E), Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN), and Naval Networking Environment (NNE) management, telecommunication services, IT requirement analysis, policy and governance, IT portfolio management, Information Assurance (IA), assessment and authorization (A&A), contract/acquisition management, financial management, and asset management.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Monitor, maintain, and secure multiple HBSS environments.
• Configure OS and data volumes and file server integration across platforms for Windows and various Linux variants.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot common software run on Linux, including Apache, Tomcat, Subversion, yum repository, iptables, Oracle, HBSS, LDAP, and Kerberos.
• Leverage expertise to build servers from the ground up and script the lock down of Linux OS's as mandated by DoD STIGS.
• Maintain and administer Enterprise computing systems to meet the DoD mandated security requirements and directives
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• SECRET clearance required
• DoD 8570 certification (SSCP, Security+, etc.)
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related scientific OR technical discipline related field
• Three (3) years of expert experience with HBSS
Due to the nature of the government contracts this position requires US Citizenship.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $80,000 - $140,000.
