Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Food safety compliant
• RBS certified
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Host/Greeter at a fine dining establishment
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Customer-focused mindset
• Able to stand 100% of the time at the host stand and reception area
• May lift up to 30 pounds regularly
• Superior attendance and punctuality
• Proper restaurant attire
• Arrive on time and in proper uniform attire, which should always be "on stage clean"

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and emergencies
• Promote a harmonious and profitable working relationship within the restaurant
• Attend and participate in department meetings as required
• Incorporate systems and routines into the day-to-day operations
• Adhere to company policies and protocols
• Exercise good judgment and report issues to GM/FOH manager
• Partner with FOH for customer satisfaction
• Food Handler Certification compliant
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the General Manager

Operations:

• Greet each guest with courtesy, respect, and a smile
• Maintain a professional and polite manner towards customers
• Manage the booking system to schedule and book tables
• Secure an area for guest's luggage
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and avoid non-work-related conversations
• Provide accurate wait time estimates to guests
• Notify managers of tables waiting for an extended period of time
• Follow all side work duties as directed by the manager
• Maintain a clean and tidy host station and reception area

Additional Responsibilities:

• Handle minor administrative work
• Ensure a clean and organized host station and surrounding reception area
