OVERVIEW

Palisade Basecamp RV Resort is a locally-owned premier camping destination, offering Cabins, RV Sites, and Riverside Tent Camping. This 14-acre resort is located off of the renowned Fruit and Wine Byway, nestled between fruit orchards and vineyards, along the Colorado River in picturesque Palisade, Colorado.

The Hospitality Guest Relations staff will lead the resort to the highest standards possible by providing exceptional customer service. An ideal candidate will be passionate about local outdoor recreation and the hospitality industry.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

Hospitality Guest Relations staff will report to the Hospitality Supervisor

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner
• Assists with check-in and check-out process
• Respond to all guest questions and requests about the resort and local area activities
• Answers phone and manages guest bookings and reservations
• Answers email inquiries sent to “stay@palisadebasecamp.com” email address
• Assist with merchandising and organizing the general store products
• Upsell general store purchases – large selection of Colorado-made beer, wine, and gifts, as well as snacks, camping essentials, Palisade branded merchandise
• General cleaning of the store shelves and floor and store bathroom
• Serve as a back-up if housekeeping is unavailable to clean/flip cabins
• Assist with administrative and clerical tasks as needed

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous hospitality experience preferred
• Ideal candidate is passionate about local outdoor recreation and the hospitality industry
• Energetic, creative, entrepreneurial, and detail oriented
• Passion for hospitality and great customer service
• Ability to work independently and get it done
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Thorough understanding of reservation and point-of-sale software
• Must be willing to work weekends
• Valid Driver’s license

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 – 32 per week
