Form of workRural Physicians Group (RPG) is looking for a Hospitalist to provide excellent care who is passionate about medicine, cares for patients in rural communities, and wants to enjoy a flexible schedule with more autonomy at:
Subject: Hospitalist Opportunity in Standish Michigan
Level 4 Trauma, 25 beds, 5 ICU bed hospital
- Avg. Daily Census of 8
- EMR: Allscripts, Dictation System: Dragon
- Required Procedures: Central Lines, Critical Care Management, Emergent Intubation, Vent Management
- Transfer Center through St. Mary's Network
- Physician will only have to do doc-to-doc
- MRI- Two days/week Tuesday and Wednesday
OUTPATIENT CLINICS ONLY
General surgery: One day/week- Wednesday
Orthopedics: every Monday
GI: 4 days/week Mon-Thurs.
Cardiology: Tuesdays

SCHEDULE & ACCOMMODATIONS
Permanent monthly schedule:
In an effort to provide continuity of care and consistency with our small rural communities and hospitals, we provide a Core Hospitalist Team to the Hospitals we serve a minimum 7-day commitment per month is required. 24/7 shifts.
24/7 shift blocks include: 7 day, 7 on/7 off, 10 day or more.
Dedicated and convenient private and comfortable quarters/call-room.
QUALIFICATIONS
Board certified
Active license or ability to obtain
Ability to perform full scope of practice
Clean malpractice and disciplinary history
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient with intubations, central lines, and vent management
