Urological Associates of Savannah has an immediate opening for a Hospital Surgical Scheduler at our Savannah location. This position involves coordinating with local hospital staff to schedule surgical cases for our seven urological surgeons. The Hospital Surgical Scheduler obtains clearance letters from other physicians, coordinates equipment and vendor representatives for different procedures and handles incoming hospital consults. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of medical terminology and have strong communication skills (written and verbal). Experience with Greenway PrimeSuite and Meditech preferred. This is a full-time, benefited position with Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM work hours. Candidates that enjoy a fast-paced atmosphere and can work productively without direct supervision are encouraged to apply.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience: Minimum 1year experience in a medical office or hospital scheduling capacity preferred
