Hospital Pharmacy Technician - Full Time - Luling, La

RPh on the go is actively seeking a Pharmacy Technician in the New Orleans area. This is a full-time position, working 1st or 2nd shifts (rotating), and rotating weekends.
Overview:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients.
• Maintain accurate and organized medication inventory within the Hospital Pharmacy.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication orders and patient information.
• Use computer systems to input prescription and patient data, and generate labels.
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines in handling and storing medications.

Requirements:

• Hospital Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
• EPIC experience (will train)
• Omnicell experience (will train)
• IV experience a plus but not required.
• Louisiana Pharmacy Technician license.
• PTCB not required but preferred.
