Position: Per-Diem work is available to perform routine nursing visits M-F during business hours, plus occasional on-call support. Opportunities for additional scheduled work or dedicated admissions support is available for the right candidate.

During their shift, duties of the Hospice RN include:

-Performing routine scheduled nursing visits and assessments in the patient's home or facility.

-Being readily available to answer questions from patients and families.

-Triaging patient and family needs over the phone and making visits, if necessary.

-Often educating Patient/Family/Caregiver/Nursing Home Staff on administration of medication, symptom management, and pain control is needed.

-Home visits by the On-Call RN are encouraged to provide further support in difficult moments.

The successful applicant has:

-Current Nevada RN License

-Compassionate and nurturing personality

-Strong team player philosophy

-Strong communication abilities

-Excellent writing and charting skills

-Ability to pass a Level 2 background check

-Reliable transportation

-Previous experience with Hospice or Home Care is preferred.

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
