We are now seeking Hospice Companion Volunteers to serve within our growing Hospice Division. This is an unpaid volunteer role.

Your Volunteer Role
- Read to your patient, lend a smile, listen to another's life-journey, share the joy of music, a favorite show, or play a game; companionship is a powerful gift!
- If you desire a more behind-the-scenes roll, you can engage as an administrative volunteer at our Corporate Hospice to give a hand as office team support
- Inquire about other volunteer opportunities as well such as Activities or Bereavement Assistant, Animal Therapy, Licensed Massage Therapist, Salon Service or Music
- This is a flexible role, and whatever time you have to give is appreciated and will be accommodated

Volunteer Responsibilities
- After being contacted, fill out the official application and background check form
- Participate in an interview process
- Participate in an volunteer orientation and training
- Spend time serving your assigned patient or fulfilling administrative duties
- Communicate consistently and regularly with your Volunteer Coordinator
- Documentation in EMR
- Be Dependable, and Committed
Volunteer Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation with valid state driver's license and current car insurance
- Kind, Compassionate, Reliable, and Emotionally mature
