Master of Divinity, or equivalent, from an accredited seminary or divinity school
Clinical Pastoral Education Required, preferably three or more units
Ordination and/or Endorsement
As spiritual and emotional caregivers, chaplains are to respect the belief system of the patient/family and work within that system of belief, rather than imposing their personal beliefs on the patient/family.
Functions:
Meet regularly with the interdisciplinary team. Visit patient/family in homes and in-patient facility. Act as liaison with clergy members of the community. Attends funerals and/family visitation after patient's death. Interface with our Bereavement Team.
- This is a full-time position with on call responsibilities. This candidate should be located in the Walton, Rockdale, Gwinnett, Newton, Jasper or Morgan county areas.
