Job description

Ovation Primary Care & Hospice , a Stellar Senior Living Company, continues to grow and we are now expanding in the Colorado market! We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hospice Administrator with a focus on geriatrics, hospice, and palliative care to join our primary care team. As a Hospice Administrator with Ovation, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing our hospice program. You will oversee the daily operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Your expertise in hospice administration, coupled with your leadership skills, will contribute to the success and growth of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the hospice team, ensuring the highest standards of care are met
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the hospice program, including clinical operations, financial management, and regulatory compliance
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and review patient care plans
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
  • Foster strong relationships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the organization's mission and enhance referral networks
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging research to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in hospice administration or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, compliance requirements, and accreditation standards
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and reporting
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to providing quality end-of-life care
