Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the shop, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Supervise and provide guidance to shop employees, including training, coaching, and performance management
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain stock
- Set sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them
- Implement marketing initiatives to drive customer traffic and increase sales
- Ensure excellent customer service by resolving customer complaints and addressing any issues that arise
- Conduct employee orientation and ongoing training to ensure staff is knowledgeable about products and services
- Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions
Experience:
- Proven experience in a retail environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role
- Strong sales background with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems to process transactions and manage inventory
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effectively interacting with customers and employees
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and motivate a team of employees
- Knowledge of sales management techniques and strategies to drive revenue growth
- Familiarity with market trends and competition in the retail industry
