The Home Maintenance Technician is responsible for responding to the needs of management, housekeeping, property managers, front desk, dispatch and guest service calls. They will assist in preparing homes and condos for guest arrival by providing exterior maintenance and hot tub services. They will assist in maintaining the AAA Four Diamond Standards
The Home Maintenance Technician will always conduct them self in manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort: Trust, Commitment, and Open and Honest Communication. The Home Services Technician shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. They will be responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture as well as promoting Sunriver Resort as both the Destination and Employer of Choice!
Responsibilities
- Provides prompt response to all service calls
- Responsible for delivery of requested guest items
- Keeps department vehicles stocked and orderly at all times
- Performs quality control checks on outdoor spas within our vacation rental inventory; including but not limited to: chemical checks, adding chemicals, basic maintenance and repairs, occasional drain and fills, and cleaning interior and exterior of vessel
- Keeps accurate and legible records of all services
- Receives and stores incoming freight accurately and promptly
- Helps maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Maintains effective organization, layout, cleanliness, security, upkeep and maintenance of all storage closets and facilities
- Maintains constant awareness of safety issues, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks and suspicious persons). Reports all safety incidents to on-duty supervisor.
- Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, loose tile, broken window panes, missing nuts or screws, etc.)
- Provides accurate key control and effective security for all keys, buildings, and vehicles
- Will occasionally assist housekeeping; including but not limited to: lock ups, stripping and stocking, bed making, basic cleaning.
Qualifications
- Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
- Must possess a valid Oregon Driver's License and meet company driving standards
- Must have basic knowledge of chemicals and their uses
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
- General knowledge of building maintenance required
- Must be able to walk, climb into and out of and operate a vehicle frequently, with occasional stair climbing.
- Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull & carry up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs;
