Our warehouse is located in Fort Myers, we do multiple stagings a week and our project locations vary all the way from South Naples to Punta Gorda.
We are looking for a full-time (30-40 hours per week) Lead Home Stager to join our team.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Our stagers create designs for each home we stage with customer demographics in mind, choosing from our large inventory of furnishings and accessories and utilizing their creativity and design knowledge to produce great interiors that buyers will love. The Home Stager is responsible for selecting decor for each project, directing the logistics team on the install of furnishings, staging homes and working alongside with the logistics team on truck loading, inventory pulling and setup of the home.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· ONE YEAR OR MORE INTERIOR DESIGN/DECORATING/SHOWROOM SETUP OR HOME STAGING: preferably in the home staging, interior design or visual merchandising of furniture fields. Please send 5-10 photos of the work you have done along with your resume.
· BE ABLE TO WORK DURING THE WEEK: This is a full time position with a minimum of 32 hours per week. Typical work days go from M-F 7:30am – 4:00 pm. We do not work on weekends.
· DETAIL ORIENTED/ORGANIZATION: This job requires to plan the design of a whole house, from large pieces to the smallest details. Putting things away in the right place and keeping them clean and organized to make the staging process flow better and be more effective is crucial to this job. If you are a neatly organized person, this job is for you.
· PHYSICALLY CAPABLE: you will be expected to lift, move and carry up to 25 lbs, sometimes up and down the stairs. This job requires being on your feet and moving around the warehouse or homes we stage most of the day and in high temperatures during the summer.
· CLEAN DRIVING RECORM: You will be driving company's vehicles. You must have a clean driving record and proof of insurance. Mileage will be reimbursed if your personal vehicle is used.
· COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE: You must have basic computer knowledge (MAC Preferred) and know how to handle social media. You must feel comfortable doing short videos and have a smartphone with photo-taking ability.
This job entails the following but is not limited to:
· Creating a color scheme/design for each home, pull and pack the accessories necessary to decorate (this includes bedding, decorative pillows, artwork, decorative accents, flowers, etc.)
· Lead in selecting, pulling furnishings and accessories when loading the truck and verifying that all the necessary furnishings and accessories are loaded
· Decorating the home on staging day. This includes help unloading the truck, setup of furnishings, decorating and art hanging
· Assist with shopping of inventory as needed
· De-stage homes along with the logistics team
· Assembling and organizing furniture, art and accessories as needed
· Helping in installation and setup of design projects
· Create on-site videos and stories of the homes we stage for social media posting

He/she will have some education, training or experience in home staging, interior design or visual merchandising and must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
