The HME Delivery Technician provides support to the Respiratory, DME and Retail daily operations. The technician's primary responsibilities are to deliver equipment and supplies, provide needed instruction, troubleshoot, perform necessary documentation and pick up equipment. As secondary responsibilities, the technician will assist the warehouse technician as workload permits or necessitates to maintain organization in the warehouse. The technician participates in the after hour call, must possess technical expertise and must serve as the patient advocate.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Med Group Delivery Technician Mastery Certification (on line, on the job training).
- Valid Virginia Drivers License required.
- Must be mechanically inclined. able to perform basic field repair of equipment.
- Must have good troubleshooting and problem solving ability.
- Must have a good driving record.
