Description:
Saline High School and The South and West Washtenaw Consortium seek a long-Term Substitute teacher for the third trimester; 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There are expectations to prepare and deliver daily lessons around basic business and accounting principles

1st hour: Planning Period
2nd hour: SWWC Entrepreneurship, Business, and Accounting
3rd hour: Introduction to Business
4th hour: Introduction to Business
5th hour: SWWC Entrepreneurship, Business, and Accounting

Qualifications:
- Preferred candidate would have a basic knowlegde of business and accounting principles.
- Exemplary, regular, and predictable attendance is expected.

Performance Responsibilities:
- Support a classroom climate that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the age and maturity of the students.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment that embodies trust and mutual respect.
- Assist the administration in implementing all policies and rules governing student life and conduct. Maintain order in a fair and just manner.
- Maintain student confidentiality. Demonstrate a professional demeanor with parents and co-workers.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues. Participate as requested in team or department meetings, IEP meetings, staff meetings, professional development, and/or other committees as appropriate or assigned.
- Strive to maintain an understanding and awareness of pertinent research and practice, and to continuously improve professional competence.
