JOB PROFILE: INSPECTOR
JOB STANDARDS
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform residential home inspections following the Internachi standards of practice.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of homes, evaluating structural components, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, and more.
- Utilize inspection tools and equipment to gather data and document findings accurately.
- Generate detailed inspection reports, including photographs, and provide them to clients in a timely manner.
- Communicate inspection results clearly and professionally to clients, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Stay current with industry regulations, building codes, and best practices.
- Maintain professional certifications and licenses as required.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate inspection schedules and ensure efficient operations.
- Uphold our commitment to outstanding customer service and professionalism.
REGULAR WORK ACTIVITIES
- Perform residential home inspections.
- Perform add-on services inspections: mold, thermal and sewer cameras.
- Attending ongoing training in-house and field.
- Role-play training

QUALIFICATIONS
- Internachi Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) or equivalent certification.
- Certified Master Inspector (CMI) certification preferred.
- Previous experience as a Home Inspector is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction and building systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and software.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies and inspection methodologies.

- InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector - Preferred
- Inspection experience – Preferred
- Customer service/relations – Preferred
- Building experience – Beneficial
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
