Home Infusion Registered Nurse

Title: Part-Time to Full-Time Home Infusion Registered Nurse Location: Lafayette, Louisiana

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Home Infusion Registered Nurse to join our team in Lafayette, Louisiana. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Home Infusion services to patients in their homes, including administration of medications, patient education, and coordination of care with other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and other infusions to patients in their homes
• Educate patients and families on proper administration and care for infusion therapies
• Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, including physicians, pharmacists, and home health aides
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
• Assist with the development and implementation of patient care plans
• Attend patient visits and provide patient assessments as needed
• On-call availability for emergencies and urgent patient needs

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse license in good standing in the state of Louisiana
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in Home Infusion nursing or related field
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of infusion therapies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel to cover infusion needs in surrounding areas
