Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide professional in home nursing care to clients/patients
- Assess and evaluate client's status by reviewing and implementing the plan of care and regularly re-evaluating the client's needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Observe client for changes in condition and discuss changes with the client, caregiver, and attending physician
Nurse Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Nursing students attending an accredited school (you may qualify for SHHC scholarships)
- Registered Nurses (RN) currently licensed in the state of Massachusetts
- For positions that require driving to a patient's home, clinicians must be licensed drivers with access to a vehicle that is insured in accordance with Massachusetts' requirements nor have access to other means of reliable transportation
- Home care experience desired (not required)
- Bilingual encouraged to apply
- Ability to successfully complete the background check process
