SalaryHome Health of Northwest is a therapist owned Home Health agency located in Bend, working to serve Central Oregon. Currently, the agency serves Bend, Sunriver, and La Pine with plans to reach Redmond and Sisters. The agency is expanding quickly and is seeking a Registered Nurse that is able to grow with the company. The opening is currently a part-time position with potential to advance to full-time position. Home Health of Northwest is deemed status accredited by The Joint Commission and prides itself on flexibility and willingness to listen to employee feedback and needs. Home health experience is not required but is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on managing their health conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation
Experience:
- Registered nurse
- Proficient in providing care for geriatric patients
- Knowledge of ostomy care, wound care, and infection control practices
- Strong case management skills, including coordinating services and resources for patients
- Excellent medical documentation skills, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Competency in IV insertion and maintenance preferred
