Qualifications for Home Health Aides (HHAs) / Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs):
- Minimum one year work experience
- Certified Nursing Assistant CNA License
- Must be certified as an Home Health Aide that has completed 75 hours of Home Health Aide certification training or from an accredited school
Job Responsibilities for Home Health Aides (HHAs) / Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs):
- Activities of daily living
- Range of motion / exercises
- Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
- Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
- Assisting with ambulation
- Medication assistance
