Home Health Aide

Overview:
I am seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join my team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to individuals in their homes. This job requires a special person to be dealing with these individuals as most are APS(Adult Protective Services) cases. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

Responsibilities:

- Basic ADL care
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Med reminders
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Help clients with meal planning and preparation
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities in their daily activities

Requirements:

- Previous experience in caregiving or related field is preferred
- Daily Logging
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to lift and assist clients as needed
- Flexibility to work in various settings
- Willingness to cook meals for clients, if necessary

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Standard shift:

• Day shift
• Evening shift

Weekly schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Home care: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Canandaigua, NY (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Canandaigua, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
