The Home Health Aide - Licensed CNA will provide personal care and assistance to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a compassionate and caring nature, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration as directed by the patient's healthcare provider
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of assistive devices such as walkers and wheelchairs
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families
- Report any changes in the patient's condition to the healthcare provider
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Texas
- Experience working as a Home Health Aide or in a similar role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
