Job Summary
Interim HealthCare of Pelham, AL seeks a compassionate, dedicated Home Health Aide to assist our clients in achieving a better quality of life through improved health, functioning, and well-being. The ideal candidate has a genuine empathy for helping others live a more manageable and independent life. This is a part-time position with great work-life balance and flexible hours for the right individual.
Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive hourly rate of $14 to $15 per hour
• Paid weekly
• Flexible work schedule
Responsibilities
• Provide personal care services to clients including assistance with activities of daily living such as grooming, toileting, bathing, and dressing
• Assist clients with meal preparation and provide good nutritional practices
• Help transport clients to doctor’s appointments
• Provide companionship, emotional and social support to clients
• Document activities and services provided that are discussed or performed with clients
• Monitor changes in client health or behavior and report them to the relevant healthcare providers
Requirements
• Valid HHA license
• 1+ year of Home Health Aide experience
• Good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Mature, reliable, organized, and able to work independently
• Reliable transportation
• Flexible schedule
